Corey Kerr, Head Coach
a native of Western Pennsylvania, Coach Kerr returns for his 32nd year in public education. Before arriving in Texas, he served as wrestling coach at Buckeye Local Middle School in Rayland, OHio garnering the 1992 Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Championship in his only season.
Coach Kerr began his teaching and coaching career in Aldine and Cy Fair ISD before moving to Clear Creek ISD in 2016. Since arriving at Clear Falls, the Knights have had individual state qualifiers every season. HISTORICALLY, the Knights have sent the most REPRESENTATIVES from district 12-6a to the regional and state tournaments. Together they have five children and four grandchildren. In his spare time, Coach enjoys playing games on his phone, binge watching his favorite show, and cheering on his beloved Steelers! |
Cassidy Jasperson, Varsity Assistant
Ms. Cassidy Jasperson, a 2014 graduate of Clear springs high school, has the distinction of being the first clear creek ISD wrestler to win a state championship. Ms. jasperson went onto attend oklahoma city university where she had an award-winning collegiate career including being named captain of the OCU women's wrestling program. after graduating from OCu, Jasperson would once again make history, becoming the first female head coach in oklahoma history when broken arrow public schools announced she was selected to be the first head girls coach of the first women's program in the state at broken arrow high school, the largest high school in the state of oklahoma. Since returning home to the texas gulf coast, Coach Jasperson has been serving as head coach at vici combat sports. this summer, cassidy was chosen to serve as a coach for team texas at the national tournament in fargo, ND.
